The process of cutting sleepers is made easy with our professional cutting service. If you need timber cutting services, CMR Timber offers excellent facilities capable of cutting a wide variety of products, including sleepers, claddings, and fencing materials.
An excellent service received from CMR and, especially, driver Gareth who offloaded our order by himself and stacked everything up in exactly the correct place.
Best service, good knowledge and really friendly. Please don’t change. I was wanting to do my garden on a budget. I was originally speaking with Carl via Facebook, I then called up to ask for assistance within 10 mins I had a full order, Carl had worked out all my sizing for wood and what he recommended. Not only this I had a delivery slot the same day. He kept me up to date on delivery times. I explained I wouldn’t be home to receive the delivery, this was no problem the most helpful delivery driver not only delivered he put all the timber down the side of my house out of the way of any eagled eyes.I have more projects coming up so sorry Carl I will be placing more orders and doing your head in for more advice. Thank you once again to CMR Timber. This is the third time we have ordered from them. The communication is brilliant, they keep you updated on your order and contact you before the driver sets off. Big thanks to Seamus who was kind enough to drop the wood at the back of the property for my partner whilst she was at work. It really saved us a lot of time and her a lot of energy of having to move them herself during the day. Would highly recommend!

Don't really leave Google reviews but my experience with CMR today needs noting. Been wanting some scaff boards for a shelving project and nowhere in Yorkshire have them and T.P didnt even know when any were coming in. Found this company online selling unbanded scaff boards. Perfect for me as the bands are awful to get off anyway. Was worried about the quality seen as for shelving. Rang up to ask if they were good quality for shelving and the really friendly chap on the phone assured me they were so I popped on through. So glad I found this place, perfect timber and a great price. But above all, the staff were brilliant. From the phone call to the yard staff helping me pick and load, also cut the boards for me to get in my car OK. As woodwork shops go it must be the cleanest workshop I've ever seen too. The bigger retailers could really learn alot from smaller independent business' like this. Will return and recommend without hesitation

Just collected some scaffolders boards after coming across this little gem of a business on Facebook. Guy on reception (sorry didn't catch your name) was brilliant. Welcoming and went the extra mile. Proper customer service unlike many other companies. Great quality wood. Will definitely use again. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Placed an order on Wednesday, arrived Friday morning after I received a call from the driver first thing advising on an arrival time. He then unloaded everything neatly, and quickly.All round brilliant service from everyone - great product (scaffold boards), at a fair price, with a super cheap delivery price!Will definitely use again, and recommend.

I've just taken delivery of three slatted fence panels and I'm knocked out by the quality! I thought I'd had some good stuff in the past but these are in another league!For a start, they're NOT tacked together with weedy, little staples - they're nailed. They're freshly tanalised (so quite wet) and they're not littered with loose knots or cracks - really nicely finished for outdoor timber!The 6 x 6 panels are - realistically - a two-man lift so that tells you plenty!I only ordered them two days ago and they were here late morning today. The driver is a top guy too - super-helpful and amenable (and plenty aren't!).Based on this, CMR will now be my first stop for outdoor timber product from here on.

more than happy to have come across CMR Timber they where realy helpful and delivered with no issues at all 60 lenghts of log lap.. need another 25 but not fault of there own happy to use again.

Ordered railway sleepers from this company. What a delight. They were delivered early sat morning (just after 8am)by a lovely man called Raymond, nothing was too much trouble for him. He refused any help and stacked the sleepers on the drive tidily and all with a smile. In fact my hubby was so impressed he going to place another order. By the price was second to none,a local company quoted £30 a sleeper and that was on special offer. Absolute bargain

Can’t thank CMR Timber enough! I messaged them via their Facebook page late yesterday evening. This morning at 8am I received my delivery. Can’t recommend them enough! I’ve a big order to place late august so CMR once again.

As soon as CMR timber answered the phone I knew I’d be ordering from them, super friendly service, complete honesty and very accommodating.Ordered a bunch of sleepers for the garden at a great price, the delivery driver was also very friendly - what more can you ask for, a local business that leaves you smiling after a purchase! Brilliant company, would recommend them any day of the week..infact already recommended to friends and family the next time they need any sleepers! Thank you!
Ordered sleepers online on a Monday at 9am and they was delivered at 2pm the same day, although they are only 6 miles away I still wasn't expecting such a quick delivery due to the fact the website says you can expect a delivery in the next 5 days. Wow super service and at the best price I could find. Even the delivery guy was great. Brilliant I will definitely be using CMR again.
