Description
Our Tanalised Type A Battens are versatile, pressure-treated softwood battens suitable for a wide range of general construction, landscaping and garden building applications. Measuring 25mm x 50mm x 4200mm, these green treated battens offer excellent durability and are protected against rot, fungal decay and insect attack for long-lasting outdoor performance.
Manufactured from freshly sawn timber with a higher moisture content than kiln-dried timber, these battens are ideal for use as laths, counter battens, timber framing and general fixing battens. Their robust construction makes them a popular choice for fencing, cladding support, sheds, garden rooms and other external timber projects.
Please note: These are Type A battens and do not comply with BS 5534. They are not suitable for roofing batten applications where BS 5534 graded roofing battens are required.
