Description
Our Timber Frame Screws with Hex Head are a high-performance alternative to traditional coach screws, designed for strong and secure timber-to-timber fixings. Ideal for structural timber, garden buildings and landscaping projects, these screws provide exceptional strength while offering faster and easier installation than conventional coach screws.
Featuring a fixed washer and hex head, these timber frame screws deliver excellent clamping force and a secure fit. The patented lubrication coating reduces driving resistance, allowing for quicker installation while improving corrosion protection. A multi-layer corrosion-resistant plating, tested to BS EN 9227:2012, withstands up to 1,000 hours of salt spray, making these screws ideal for demanding outdoor environments.
The innovative helix shank removes timber debris during installation, increasing clamping performance, while the deep 50° single thread provides outstanding pull-out resistance. A specially designed slash point reduces driving torque and helps minimise the risk of timber splitting, particularly when fixing close to board edges.
